Development and commercial activity has the potential to create both positive and negative effects on the environment. At RSK Carter Ecological, we aim to alleviate the negative effects and, wherever possible, enhance the post-development environment. Address complex environmental issues relating to a wide range of planning and development areas, and have extensive experience with evaluating possible routes of construction design. We confidently apply the current methodology for assessing biodiversity impacts from transport infrastructure described by the Transport Analysis Guidance (TAG) and can supply appraisal summary tables and full appraisals as required.
We can offer sound and robust options appraisal for project work, particularly for ecological aspects of EIA. We have gained extensive experience of options appraisal having worked closely with a number of developers, including Cross London Rail Link for a number of years.
RSK Carter Ecological specialists are able to assist with:
Policy and best-practice formulation and evaluation
Understanding the legislative framework and requirements of a proposed development
Preparation of efficient, cost-effective data collection strategies
Interpretation of data and development of appropriate and innovative mitigation
The effective communication of environmental and ecological information to those involved in decision making process.
